The resume and cover letter assignment was one of the most helpful because you need a resume to apply to most jobs. It was nice to receive help in a class while making your resume. For the cover letter you had to find a job listing and write a cover letter to your resume as if you were applying. I chose a job at the zoo because I was interested in it. I did get stuck on it for a while at first because I didn’t know what information to write. I ended up giving a few details about myself and why I wanted the position. I feel like my cover letter was a bit short but it had all the right information so I chose to view it as concise. I think I did well on this assignment; the resume and cover letter had matching fonts and colors, my resume was organized and in order, and my cover letter was formal and had the right information.
